Run forest run!

Monday, February 16th, 2004

I have started the fitness trail at last. I have recently played football twice, and have been for a 3.3 mile run the past few days. My legs are starting to hurt badly, but no pain no gain!
The bad news is there will be no Internet access for me on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. How will I cope with no contact with the outside world! :(
Still, work is going well and there seems to be a good crowd here. All this makes the experience a little more bearable.
Must dash now as I am talking to Éva on Messenger.

I have lost that green feeling!

Mount Alice was good, found out there was an old friend up there, so it was good to catch up. Had too many beers, so head was a bit sore the next day. This time I saw the medic before I flew to get some travel sickness tablets, this sorted me out as the flight back was enjoyable.
When I got back I found I had a couple of blueys and a parcel. Life is good! :satisfied:
Yesterday even Swindon Town won! do not know how Forest Green got on though.

I have now sorted out the comments white on white problem.

Sea/air sick

Friday, February 13th, 2004

Flew upto Mount Alice this morning and it was the worst experience ever. The rain and high winds did not help, but once on that helicopter I felt my stomach go. Luckly I was not sick, but boy did I stare at that sick bag a lot!, the worst part was flying over the sea towards Sea Lion Island. When we stopped halfway to refuel it was a god send as we could leave the helicopter for 15 minutes. Here I was told they have never seen a person go so green before! I had to go to the toilet to check (No, it was not vanity!), and sure enough there was a green boy staring back at me.
When we got to Alice we had a good meal which sorted me out, but when I tried to sleep after (I was working nights) I could not drop off. Boy I am so tired yet I cannot sleep.

Online city!

Good news, my wife and I have mastered MSN Messenger and had our first conversation on it today. Both of us have never used this before, but it was a brilliant experience being able to talk in real time.
My wife also surprised me by sending me an e-bluey, which I didn’t even know she had heard of it. She even set me up with an account also. She is a clever girl.
More good news, my Mum and Dad are now online, as proved by me recieving an e-mail from them today. Life is good.
I am currently on nights, but will be flying upto Mount Alice tomorrow morning. Who needs sleep?!
I am also trying to get the comments text colour to be black, as it is white on white at the mo. I would be oblivious to this if it was not for Ronaldo. Thanks my friend. :)
