At last I know when I am going back to good old blighty. I will be departing here on the 1st June, arriving at Brize Norton on the 2nd. Believe it or not, but the person who is replacing me is the same person who replaced me the last time I was detached down here
The go-karting was fun last week, although I need more practice. I raced in 5 races, so the money was well spent. Later that day I went to the cinema and saw the film ‘Torque’, believe me it wasn’t worth the £1!
Tomorrow night we are going bowling, this is the first time I have played down here. I am usually very good or very bad, lets hope for a good night!

The days to do are getting few thank god. It hasn’t been as bad as I feared down here, the Internet helps to communicate with the civilized world. It looks like Évi will be coming down on the 6th May, I cannot wait. I have booked a family room down here for her stay, I have also booked a vehicle for 3 days during her stay. I will also book a hotel room in Stanley in the near future. I am also hoping to arrange a helicopter trip to Sea Lion Island for us, but I cannot do that until the Monday before she travels. Talking of Sea Lion Island, I will be taking a trip there on the 6th May (Évi will arrive here on the 7th May) so I can see what it is like. It only costs £10 for the trip each.
On Saturday I will be Go-karting, as I have never done this but always wanted to, I am looking forward to this event very much.

The clocks went back last night so I am now 5 hours behind the UK, which may lead to problems when connecting the UK at a reasonable hour.
I have just come back from Mount Alice, the night was very good and the food was excellent. It was good to get away from MPA for a day, you know what they say - a change is as good as a rest.

Hello again, sorry its taken so long to write but lately the Internet has either been down or so slow that I haven’t had time to blog. How I miss my broadband connection!
Whats happened lately, well not a lot as usual. The lower NAAFI bar has been refurbished and opened on Monday, it is meant to have the look and feel of a Wetherspoons pub. It looks quite similiar, but there is no ‘Curry Club’ on Thursday night!
Also on Monday I played in the usual Monday night 5-a-side competition. We lost 1-0 in the final.
This Saturday I am going to Mount Alice for a dining-in night. The following Saturday I will be go-karting which should be fun.
The UK flight (timmy) has just arrived 30 minutes ago, again I hope there will be mail for me. Fingers-crossed.
My next highlight is getting my hair cut tomorrow. Its all go down here!
