Hello all and Happy Easter. Sorry it has been so long but the Internet access was down for a while

Hello everyone, I am up here early as the powers who be decided to test the alarms today at 1030. This normally would not be a problem, but I was TRYING to sleep off nights! As the testing lasted 30 minutes, I could not get back to sleep.

On the 17th April I am going upto Mount Alice for a Dining-in night, so it will be another helicopter ride. But have travel sickness pills, will travel. Hopefully it will be the usual high standard food and an enjoyable evening will be had by all.

The JEC library is having a stocktaking until Thursday, so in the meanwhile I cannot get any DVDs or books out - which is annoying. Maybe I am being Mr.Angry because I am so tired. I am going to try to catch forty-winks before I start nights again. Bye for now.

Hello folks, well its April and only a few days from my halfway point. Which is nice.
Last night my watch hosted a games night, which we made into Penguin racing. Now before you get the RSPCA onto me, it was not real penguins! Basically we had 5 lanes, and 5 wooden penguins. People bought a penguin for a race, minimum of £2, highest bidder wins. When all 5 penguins are sold, the race begins. This is governed by the roll of a die (dice), the first roll being the lane number - the second is the number of spaces the penguin advances. The first to cross the finish line wins the pot.
Today Jet the cat went to Stanley for her operation. This was to ensure she cannot have any little jets if you get my drift. The poor thing was a shell of her former self upon her return, but I expect she will become her usual self by tomorrow. Now she is allowed out in the big bad world by herself. Hopefully she will not get lost again.
