Sunday

Sunday, October 24th, 2004

Its been a while since I have posted so I thought I would drop a line or two. What has been going on in the world of Paul Davis I hear you ask? well not a lot at the moment. I am busy at work compiling the AP3430 (Aerospace systems bible), so thats good. In a weeks time I will be on leave for a week so I have that to look forward too. The first weekend Évi and I will be travelling down to Stroud to see my parents, and my sister and family, but also to see Shaun and Pamela with little Oliver and the new addition to their family, George. I hope the wether will be better than it is this weekend.

Évi and I have decided that we will be going to Goa in April. We have found the hotel where we wish to stay, I just need to sort out my leave then book it.

I have not heard from my old friend David Large for ages now. I hope his Police training is/has gone well. Don’t be a stranger!

Site design

Wednesday, October 13th, 2004

At last I have added a guestbook script which maintains the style of this site. It was not easy as I had to overcome some file permission/path problems. I must admit I am already thinking of ideas of how to change the appearance of the site. I do get bored easily. I must first add some more content and complete the validation of the site first. I have also been moving away from using tables in my designs, there are even pages out there without them  nem rossz!

Christmas!

Tuesday, October 5th, 2004

Évi and I went to Princes Risborough today as I am off this week. Nothing strange in that I hear you say, true but soon into our stroll around this pleasant little town workmen started putting up Christmas decorations! I must say this every year, but it seems to be earlier each year that this occurs. Give it a few years and there will be no need to take the decorations down. Call me old fashioned but this takes the gloss off the whole xmas experience, why don’t they wait to at least December? Is it just me or should I change my name to Scrooge?
