Goa
Well we are now back from our holiday in Goa and we had a really great time. We stayed at the Colonia Santa Maria, or CSM as it’s know, which we found to be quite basic but in an excellent location. The people there were very friendly and always willing to help.
We went on a few trips. One to Old Goa, the former Portuguese capital before it had to be abandoned due to Cholera outbreaks. Another to Cola beach, South Goa where we stayed in Arabian style tents on an isolated beach. We also spent time riding and washing elephants, I also had an elephant shower which was nice.
A great time was had by all. I will be writing more on our holiday at a later date meanwhile if you visit my flickr account you will find some photographs. Enjoy!

Browsed through your photos for a nostalgic trip back to Goa.We spent most of our beach days on the beach by csm.Did you meet Phoona and Namita the sisters selling fruit down there?We have been to India 9 times but not for the last 3 years.Our friends are there now,am so jealous.Thanks for your photos and I wish you a happy new year.M

I cannot recall the two sisters but we bought a lot of fruit on the beach. Happy New Year to you too and thanks for your visit
