It has been a long while since I last posted anything on my blog so I thought I’d better address this. Things are getting quite exciting with the imminient arrival of a new member to the Davis household. I think we are fully prepared, but the England kit was the last piece of the jigsaw. Now it is just the waiting game. He is due on Saturday, but only 5% of babies are born on their due dates - so any day now…

“Your Talent will be acknowledged” was the message in the fortune cookie we got given after our bite to eat at the noodle bar. When I got home I decided to browse the CD which arrived with the March edition of Digital Photo. I looked in the CD gallery to see what other readers were photographing and was amazed to see one of my photos. Amazed because although I sent the photo in via e-mail a month or so ago, I had no acknowledgement that they received the picture. I presumed it was too big for their firewall and thus blocked. Still I am happy that the only picture I sent in got on the disc, even if they did spell my surname wrong.
